LAHORE :10 March: Punjab University’s Department of Archeology held a lecture on understanding Shiva and his family in Hindu religion at its lecture hall. HEC celebrates Women’s Day at Fatima Jinnah Women University

Rawalpindi:09 March: On the International Women's Day, Higher Education Commission has organized a Women’s Day event at Fatima Jinnah Women University here on Friday to celebrate the achievements and successful stories of student’s scholarship recipients of USAID Funded Merit and Need Based Scholarship Programme. Rs793.3m released for education

LAHORE:09 March: The Punjab government has released an amount of Rs793.362 million to 36 Districts Education Authorities (DEAs) of the province. This technical supplementary grant is for 922 ongoing schemes of reflected in Annual Development Programme (ADP-2018-19) of School Education Department during the third quarter of financial year 2018-19. The district Vehari will get maximum share of Rs117.836 million, followed by Faisalabad Rs64.537 million and Multan Rs56.466 million. DEA Lahore will receive Rs31.931 million while Jhelum has the minimum share of Rs1.120 million only.The news.

Plantation at Agriculture University Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi :08 March: The tree plantation campaign has started at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), here on Thursday, with an aim to highlight the significance of green and healthy environment. Punjab University schedule for forms for BSc (Engg)

LAHORE :March 8: Punjab University (PU) has issued the schedule for submission of admission fee and forms for BSc (Engg) Electrical Engineering 2nd semester examination 2019. The last date for submission of admission forms with single fee is 18-3-19 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till 21-3-19. Meanwhile, the PU Examinations Department has also issued date sheet of BS (4-year programme) 1st, 3rd, 7th semester, ADB (2-Year programme) 1st, 3rd Semester exam 2019 and M.Com (3 ½ Years Programme) Third Year annual exam 2018 to be held in March, 2019.The news.

LAHORE :March 8: A two-day workshop on “Basic tools in Bioinformatics” organised by the Government College University (GCU) Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (IIB) began here Thursday. Punjab University Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qirat

Lahore:07 March:Mehfil-e-Qirat Punjab University’s Faculty of Islamic Studies on Wednesday organised Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qirat. LUMS Varsity ranked number one in two subjects

LAHORE:06 March: The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) ranked number one in two subjects by the QS World University Rankings for 2019. According to a press release issued Tuesday, they are Business and Management Studies as well as Economics and Econometrics. LUMS has also achieved a rank between 3 and 5 in Computer Science and Information Systems (3rd); Electrical and Electronic Engineering (4th) and Physics and Astronomy (5th).
