Lahore: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced that the intermediate Part-I and Part-II supplementary examinations for 2010 will begin on Oct 30.

The candidates, who appeared in full subjects in the intermediate Part-I and II examinations for 2010 and failed in one or two subjects have been allowed to reappear in the failing subjects till intermediate Part-I and II annual examinations for 2011.The candidates, who have failed in more than two subjects, will have to appear in the next intermediate Part-I and II examinations in full subjects.

The candidates who have either been placed under compartment or have failed in the intermediate Part-I and II annual examinations have been allowed to deposit admission forms and fee for the supplementary examination 2010.

According to the admission schedule, the forms can be submitted without late fee by Sept 29, with double fee Oct 6 and with triple fee Oct 13. No form will be accepted after the expiry of the final notified date.

The candidates intending to apply for rechecking of their papers may apply for the same on a prescribed proforma within 15 days of the result.

The candidates intending to improve their grade or marks are allowed to appear in Part-I or Part-II or both or the subject(s) with one examination opportunity within one year of passing the relevant examination in the same group/subjects in current/prevalent syllabus. Dawn
