PU teachers win thesis writing contest
LAHORE : Punjab University Faculty of Islamic Studies three faculty members including Dr Hafiza Shahida Parveen, Dr Hafiz Abdul Qayyum and Asim Naeem have won distinctions in the thesis writing competition organized by Department of Hajj and Auqaf. In the thesis entitled ‘Dawat-o-Tableegh Ki Hikmat Amli – Taleemat-e-Nabvi (PBUH) Ki Roshni Mein', thesis of Dr Shahida Parveen (female category) of Islamic Studies Department and Dr Hafiz Abdul Qayyum of Sheikh Zayed (male category) Islamic Centre (SZIC) were awarded first positions while thesis of Asim Naeem of Islamic Studies Department got second prize. The prize were awarded in the National Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference organized by the government.
