LAHORE, Sept 12: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Higher Education Zaeem Hussain Qadri and Punjab Higher Education Secretary Dr Ejaz Munir on Tuesday inaugurated a website for online interaction with the 494 government colleges.
The Higher Education Department has developed the website with the cooperation of Tufail International.
Admission forms, online admission facility, prospectus, results, date sheets, attendant session, extracurricular activities, details of scholarships and facility of career counselling of all colleges in Punjab will be available at website: www.gc.edu.pk.
The department secretary has issued instructions to all colleges to upload their data on this website.
Mr Qadri said the launch of the website for the colleges across Punjab was an important step towards information sharing. He hoped that
students and their parents would benefit a great deal from this tool.Dawn.
