Lahore: 25 Jan: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has announced that Applications are invited from the eligible/suitable candidates on plain paper with attested copies of testimonials, experience certificate with specific dates and transcripts for one post of Research Associate on purely contract basis in the following project with the following prescribed qualification.
ONE POST OF RESEARCH ASSOCIATE ON PURELY CONTRACT BASIS AT THE CONSOLIDATED SALARY PACKAGE OF RS. 25000/- PM IN THE PROJECT TITLED
"SPATIAL ECOLOGY AND EPIDEMIALOGY OF SOIL BORNE HUMAN AND ANIMAL BACTERIAL PATHOGENS AND ITS PUBLIC HEALTH SIGNIFICANCE IN PAKISTAN” IN UNIVERSITY DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY, UVAS, LAHORE TILL THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, WITH THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATION.
MPhil Microbiology / Molecular Biology in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
Hands on practical experience of working on PCR DGGE and Real time PCR is necessary
Documented proof of work experience (in the form of experience letter, etc) from HEC recognized institution
Incomplete applications or those received after due date will not be entertained.
Pre selection MCQ’s Test will be conducted if applications received in due date increased from 50 number.
The University reserves the right not to fill any vacancy without assigning any reason.
Applications complete in all respect should reach in the office of the Registrar up to 03-02-2012 during office hours.
The candidates will appear before the Selection Committee in the office of the Director, University Diagnostic Laboratory / Convener, Standing Selection Committee for interview. (Dates for interview will be announced later on).
