Steps for 88pc literacy

Lahore:September 09:PUNJAB Minister for Education Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has said that the government is working hard to achieve the target of 88 per cent literacy rate till 2015 to fulfill the international commitment under Millennium Development Goals. Addressing a seminar regarding International Literacy Day organised by Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Department, Punjab, here on Saturday, he said that 262,500 students under the age of 4 to 15 years were getting education under non-formal basic education schools.The news.
