Lahore:19 August:The Communication Department of the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has distributed Eid gifts among girl students and their mothers of a school partnered with the PEF under its New School Programme (NSP) situated at Ghang Sharif village near Kahna on Ferozepur Road.
According to a handout, PEF Deputy Director (NSP) Hassan Javed and his team, teachers and notables of the area were also present.
PEF Deputy Director, Communication, Aruj Salman said the PEF was working to encourage the impecunious strata to send their children to schools for gratis education. She said Eid gifts were a small gesture to give the message of love to the students that the PEF was equally sharing the joys and happiness of its student community and their families.
Hassan Javed said more than 55,000 students were getting free education under the NSP programme in 36 districts through 419 partner schools.The news.
