PU to organize book fair in March
Lahore: 10 Feb: Maintaining its previous marvelous traditions, Punjab University administration, with the cooperation of faculty members and students will organize Pakistan’s largest 3-day book fair this year in March. PU Chief Librarian Chaudhry Muhammad Hanif has said that renowned publishers, booksellers and information technology organizations will establish their stalls and provide books and other products to teachers, students and general public on highly discounted rates.
He said all resources would be utilized to make the book fair a success like in the past so that book-reading could be promoted in this era of computer and technology. He said a record 75 thousands books were sold last year in PU book fair which proved that people still had love with books. He hoped that this year, people would purchase more books in the book fair.
