Lahore: 26 Jan: Punjab University (PU) Admissions Department has announced admissions notice for different Programs in College of Art and Design .
MFA in
(Semester System)
• Graphic Design
• Illustration
• Textile Design
• Painting
• Sculpture
• Printmaking
Eligibility Criteria:
•Candidates must have BFA (Professional) degree in relevant subjects from HEC recognized institutions.
•Equivalence will be granted by University of the Punjab.
•Preference would be given to students of the University College of Art & Design.
The College offers two programmes:
Morning & Replica
Replica Programmes are subject to the minimum number of students required to run the programmes.
MS in Art History
Two Years Morning Program (Semester System)
Applications are invited for admission to MS Art History in the College of Art & Design, details of which are given below:
Eligibility Criteria:
•1st Division / CGPA> 2.5 in M.A. / Bachelor (Hons.) 4 years degree or its equivalent in Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences subjects from a recognized University by the HEC (at least 16 years of education, 130 credit hours).
•Other conditions as per Punjab University admission rules.
•All candidates will have to appear for a written test and interview.
•The written test will be held on January 27, 2012 in the college premises at 11:00 a.m.
•Interview of the successful candidates in written test will be held on February 6, 2012 in the Principal office at 10:00 a.m.
Application Process:
Prospectus will be available from the office of the College of Art & Design, Allama Iqbal Campus, from January 11, 2012. Last date for receiving the application forms along with other documents is January 20, 2012 by 4:00 p.m.
