JHANG:23 September : Police on Saturday arrested two killers of Government College Dabwala principal Nawaz Khan Sial
who was murdered in his home at Civil Lines on Aug 23, 2012.
It was disclosed by DPO Akhtar Umar Lalika while addressing a press conference here on Saturday. The DPO said that the deceasedâs son Ali Raza was also involved in the murder of his father. The DPO said that Nawaz was present at his house when two accused, later identified as Kashif Imran of Jhang and Tanveer of Gujranwala, entered the house and allegedly shot Nawaz dead and fled. The DPO said that on the application of Mrs Nusrat Nawaz, a case was registered against the killers and Kotwali police started investigation. Later, he added, the police arrested the killers who also confessed to their crime. The DPO claimed that the accused revealed that Nawazâs only son Ali Raza plotted to kill his father over some domestic disputes. Further investigations were underway and raids were being conducted to arrest Ali Raza, the DPO added.The news.
