Kidnapped Lecturer Recovered

RAWALPINDI:August 19: The Westridge police have arrested three persons, hailing from Bunair, Khyber Pakhtukhawa (KP) involved in kidnapping a lecturer of a local college for ransom on July 21 and recovered the lecturer from their hideout.
Zubair, a resident of New Chaakra and brother of the victim, had lodged a complaint with the Westridge Police Station, saying that on July 21, all his family members were at home when three gunmen entered the house and held all of them hostage at gun point and collected cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth millions of rupees. He said on leaving the house, they took his brother Usman with them.
After some time, they demanded Rs05 million as ransom. However, the family paid him Rs1.5 million as advance money, but they didn’t release him. Finally, the family decided to seek the police help. The SP said that the police traced their hideout located around New Chaakra and recovered lecturer Usman.The news.
