ISF protests Ebad’s killing
LAHORE:January 28:INSAF Student Federation (ISF) on Friday staged a protest demonstration against the Punjab government alleging poor prosecution in the Raymond Davis case which made his safe journey to the US possible last year.
According to a press statement issued here Friday, ISF office-bearers led by Malik Ayaz carrying banners and placards gathered outside the Lahore Press Club and chanted slogans against the PPP led-federal government and the Punjab government for doing nothing in the case of Raymond Davis who was mysteriously released by court.
They lamented the Punjab government had neither captured the culprits nor provided any relief to the family of Ebad-ur-Rehman who was run over by Americans who had come to rescue Raymond Davis in February 2011 in Lahore. The ISF office-bearers said the Punjab government had failed to protect its citizens so it should resign.The news.
