LAHORE:August 26:ALMOST all the public sector educational institutions will remain open on Sunday (today) to ensure preventive measures against the dengue mosquitoes.
While students are exempted to be in attendance, heads as well as teaching and non-teaching staff will come and take part in anti-dengue activities. Similarly, the offices of education-related departments, including office of DPI Colleges, will also remain open. It is learnt that Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed all public educational institutions to remain open on Sunday to take maximum measures against dengue by involving teaching and non-teaching staff. It is expected that educational institutions will also remain open next Sunday. A spokesperson for the PU said all the teaching and non-teaching departments of the university would remain open.The news.
