Faisalabad: 13 Jan: Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad has announced admissions in MS / M.Phil / Ph.D Programs .
Applications on the prescribed forms are invited for admission to the following MS / M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes for the Spring Semester 2012 (Morning/ Evening) of the University.

Eligibility:-
The candidates must have passed M.A/MS.c/4-Year education after F.A/FS.c (minimum 130 credit hours) or equivalent degree in the relevant field from HEC recognized institution with at least 50% marks (under annual system of examination) or 2.5 (under semester system) CGPA will be compulsory for admission to M.S./M.Phil Programmes.
Clearance of GAT (General) test by NTS is pre-requisite.
Candidates working in the Government/Semi Government or private institutions shall have to submit “NO Objection Certificate” from the concerned organizations.

Eligibility:-
The candidates must have passed M.S./M.Phil with minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 in M.S./M.Phil/ Equivalent degree from HEC recognized institution.
Clearance of GAT (Subject) test by NTS for admission to Ph.d Program is pre-requisite.
Candidates working in the Government/Semi Government or private institutions shall have to submit “NO Objection Certificate” from the concerned organizations.

Display of First Merit List January 30, 2012
Payment of dues January 31 to February 02, 2012
Display of Second Merit List February 06, 2012

Left over cases February 10 to 14, 2012

Note
HEC awardees under indigenous scholarship scheme are encouraged to apply.
University reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
How to Apply
Prospectus will be available in the National Bank of Pakistan Jinnah Colony Branch (University Booth) and the Bank of Punjab, Katcheri Bazar Branch (University Booth) Faisalabad, on payment of Rs. 700/-.
The details will also be available at Information Centre (Ph: +92-41-9200886) and website.
Candidates can also download Admission Form from University website and attach a bank draft of Rs. 700/- in favour of Treasurer, GC University Faisalabad.
The Admission Forms complete in all respects should reach in the Directorate of Advanced Studies by Jan. 23, 2012 during office hours.
