FC College FORMUN 2012 postponed

Lahore: 02 March: Forman Christian College (FC College) has announced that the first Forman Christian College University Model United Nations (FORMUN 2012) has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
The FORMUN team chooses to see this as an opportunity to bring you a bigger and better event. We will be arranging for a more diverse assembly consisting of more than just five committees and hopefully a few specialized agencies. The social events team is also arranging for a few more surprises to come your way.
We will be updating the dates for the conference soon, so please keep checking the FORMUN website and the Facebook pages.
FORMUN ’12 aspires to bring a revolution in the Model United Nations (MUN) circuit. Believing that the rising costs of attending MUNs is a deterrent to prospective participants, FORMUN has done away with all registration fees in an attempt to integrate anyone and everyone who wish to attend such conferences.
The FORMUN team is diligently working to bring an intellectually stimulating event that will inspire people to reflect upon global issues and problems that have been plaguing the international community. FORMUN is an opportunity for students to learn about international relations, improve their speaking skills and network with like-minded peers. In the true spirit of the UN, it celebrates cultural diversity as is exemplified by the foreign Chair of the General Assembly and the Global Village event.
The organizers, themselves have more than 20 MUNs under their belts as well as numerous public speaking experiences; both national and international. They hope to deliver an event that will help promote innovative thinking and teamwork, and believe that the event will foster the spirit of MUNing in the younger generation. Also collaborating with the FORMUN team is the International Affairs Society under the leadership of Sundus Mehmood, which is organizing the fun social events!
