Debating contest final today

LAHORE, Sept 24: The debating teams of the Lahore Grammar School (LGS) Paragon, Defence and Johar Town branches and Aitchison College have qualified for the semi-finals of the Razziuddin All-Pakistan Under-19 National Championship being held at the Lahore Learning Alliance, DHA Phase-VIII.

The semi-finals and finals will be held on Monday (today).

As many as 42 debating teams from all over Pakistan had participated. Initially, three rounds robin were held on Saturday and fourth on Sunday.

Later, 16 qualified teams competed and the eight winners contested quarter finals.

Each team comprises five members – three speakers and two resource persons.
