Rawalpindi:January 25: Civil Judge Rao Aijaz Ahmed on Tuesday acquitted all six students of a local private school, who were arrested from a Peshawar hotel on Tuesday after they went missing on January 19, 2012.
The judge asked the applicant that if she wanted further action against school management, court would summon them. Applicant Kausar Perveen mother of Iqra withdrew her application after that the court acquitted all the students and disposed of the case.
The six students of a local private school, who were missing since January 19 (Thursday), were found from Peshawar on Tuesday. They were staying in a hotel in Hasht Nagri, Peshawar.
The Peshawar police detained them on the complaint of the hotel manager who identified them after watching reports on different TV channels about their disappearance.
SSP (Operations) Peshawar, Tahir Ayub, when contacted by ‘The News’ said that they have been handed over to the Rawalpindi police on their request. He said that the students had hired rooms in a local hotel upon reaching there.The news.
