LAHORE:19 August: Board of Intermediate and Secondary, Lahore may not stick to earlier announcement of declaring intermediate results on the August 25 due to the existing errors in process of result making in the computer department.
The Sources privy to result making in the board told The Frontier Post that some problems has occurred in computer department which has delayed the process thus the Intermediate result may be declared on August 28 or September 1st.
Reliable sources told that board authorities have directed the computer department to ensure error free intermediate result. “Authorities do not want any hassle this time and they are very much concerned with errors found in recently announced matriculation result”, they said. They also mentioned that board officials are conscious of embarrassing situation happened to face due to erroneous results of intermediate and matriculation last year. “Board officials are in no position to handle such situation because they have a feeling that Punjab government can take concrete decisions against them in case of blunder that happened in 2011 results”, sources said.
“Thus, for board’s authorities, it is more important to announce an error free result rather to meet previously speculated date of result declaration”, they said.
