Boys outshine girls in DGK inter exams

DERA GHAZI KHAN:September 09: Boys outshone girls in the intermediate annual examinations 2012 result announced by the BISE in a ceremony here on Saturday.
As many as 30,699 candidates appeared in the examinations of whom 18,898 were declared successful with pass percentage of 61.56.
Over all top positions: Ali Naveed (Roll No 152195) of Punjab College, Dera Ghazi Khan, stood first with 1028 marks while Muhammad Gulshan Khan (Roll No 161501) of Mehtab Public Higher Secondary School, Tibba Nawan, and Muhammad Umar (Roll No 160016) of Farid Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, took the second and third positions with 1020 and 1019 marks respectively.
Pre-medical group (Girls): Saira Bakhtawar (Roll No 151941) of Sardar Korey Khan Public Girls Higher Secondary School grabbed the first position with 1007 marks, Aiman Rafiq (Roll No 150922) of Government College for Women, Rajanpur, stood second with 1003 marks and Alisha Anwar (Roll No 153721) of Government College for Women, Fatehpur, stood third with 999 marks.
Pre-medical group (Boys): Ali Naveed (Roll No 152195) of Punjab College, Dera Ghazi Khan, stood first with 1028 marks, Muhammad Asad Riaz (Roll No 153207) of Superior Science Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, and Muhammad Awais Sharif (Roll No 153352) of Sardar Korey Khan Public Higher Secondary School shared the second position by security 1016 marks while Muhammad Jehanzaib (Roll No 153193) of Superior Science Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, stood third with 1014 marks.
Pre-engineering group (Girls): Shumaila Khan (Roll No 161065) of Government College for Women, Keror Lal Eissan, stood first, Shafaq Rehman Rana (Roll No 157266) of Punjab Girls College, Alipur, stood second by getting 977 and 973 marks respectively while Itrat Taqqi (Roll No 157311) of Government Girls Community Higher Secondary, Sanawan Kot Addu, and Amtul Mateen Ayesha (Roll No 157357) of Dawn Girls Higher Secondary School, Sanawan Kot Addu, shared the third position with 966 marks.
Pre-engineering group (Boy): Muhammad Gulshan Khan (Roll No 161501) of Mehtab Public Higher Secondary School, Layyah, stood first, Muhammad Umar (Roll No 160016) of Farid Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, and Sharjeel Munawar (Roll No 157688) of Government Postgraduate College, Dera Ghazi Khan, stood first, second and third by securing 1020, 1019 and 1018 marks respectively.
Humanities and commerce group (Girls): Iqra Asghar (Roll No 172257) of Government College for Women, Jampur, Mariam Akbar (Roll No 171117) of Princeton Girls Inter-College, Jatoi, and Ruqiya Basit (Roll No 170964) of Punjab Girls College, Alipur, secured the first, second and third positions respectively.
Humanities and commerce group (Boys): Allah Bachaya (Roll No 177611) stood first while Mujeebul Rehman (Roll No 1729011) of Government Degree College, Vehoa, and Muhammad Irshad (Roll No 174085) of Princeton Boys Degree College, Jatoi, stood first, second and third respectively.The news.
