BA topper gets house in Aashiyana Housing Scheme

LAHORE:19 August: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while giving allotment letter and keys of the house at Aashiyana Housing Scheme to Mohsin Ali and his parents, said that the Punjab government was using all resources for the less-privileged and talented students. The chief minister said that Ali, who got first position this year’s BA examination, was a hero of the entire nation and the place which he had achieved through his courage, hard work and determination despite limited resources proved that talented youth had the capability of changing the direction of history. He said that an able student like Mohsin Ali in this obsolete system is a ray of hope. The chief minister expressed these views while talking to Ali’s family members, notables and media at the residence of Mohsin Ali at Village Mian Rahiman in Hafizabad, on Saturday. The chief minister also assured financial assistance to a female student, Hafiza Muqaddas Shahbaz, who had achieved third position in BA examinations. Shahbaz said that he would soon call her in his office to appreciate and encourage her. MNA Saira Afzal Tarar, MPA Sheikh Allauddin, Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti, Chaudhry Asadullah Arain, Gujranwala Commissioner Abdul Jabbar Shaheen, and notables of the area were also present on the occasion.Daily Times.
