Annual parents day function at college

RAWALPINDI:23 September: An annual parents day was held at JS Public School and College on Saturday. On this occasion, a colourful variety show was also presented. Students participated in this show with zeal. They also presented various items in which they exhibited their best.

JSPS&C Vice Principal Zareen Kamran played a pivotal role in not just arranging the show but also decorating the college hall and the stage. With her co-operation and guidance, section heads and teachers presented/prepared beautiful items. The colourful variety show was presented in the newly constructed college hall. On the same day the building was also inaugurated. The annual parents day ceremony began at 10am. Chief guest on the occasion was the wife of the chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

Students of the Junior Section (Class Prep-I) who were dressed in beautiful costumes sang the welcome song and were applauded by the guests. Students of the pre-school presented a show on ‘Hungry Caterpillar’, which was appreciated by the audience. Students of the senior section presented a comic Urdu symposium in their own distinguished style. Their strange and interesting gestures mesmerised the spectators. dna.Daily Times.
