Lahore: Justice Mian Saqib Nisar of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday reserved judgement on a petition challenging the mode of entry test for admission to medical and dental colleges.
Asad Manzoor Butt, representing Umar Khubaib and 17 other A-level students, submitted that the questions given in the entry test were out of syllabus. He said the University of Health Sciences (UHS) had introduced a classified syllabus for the intermediate and A-level students, but the questions asked from the A-level students were out of syllabus.
He requested the court to restrain the respondents from announcing results on the basis of the test and conduct fresh test as per the laid down policy. The judge had already linked the results of the petitioners' tests with the final decision of the petition. Daily times
