Faisalabad Agriculture University SEX Video Baseless and Bogus

Faisalabad:28 May:Professor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan Vice Chancellor (VC) University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has called the alleged video footage of a female boarding student baseless and bogus.

In a statement issued on Friday,he stated that the video footage of the girl shown by some electronic channels does not belong to the university premises. However, impartial inquiry has been initiated to look into the matter and decide the fate of the security officer and the students.

The VC vowed that as soon as the inquiry is completed, media will be informed about the findings accordingly. He stated that the issue was brought in his notice 10 days ago. Besides initiating an inquiry, the parents of the girl involved were asked to take the girl away from the campus.

He told that UAF management has barred the security officer from performing his duties and withheld his promotion. Principal Officer Students Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad Younus was assigned to investigate,he said. The VC said that in line with the HEC directives, he constituted ‘Ethic Committee’ which will deal with such issues and address complaints of female students.

UAF Vice Chancellor expressed his dismay over making an association of illicit video footage with the university. He said this will hamper academic progress, damage creditability of this esteemed seat of learning, besides causing mistrust and frustration among parents and some 4000 female students of the University.

Meanwhile, Seven teachers of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), including a female faculty member, proceeded abroad for higher education under Faculty Development Program.

In a statement issued on Friday, a spokesman of the GCUF said that under this program, the GCUF has awarded scholarships worth Rs 7.3 million each for doctorate of philosophy programme in various disciplines at foreign universities.

Lecturer Ali Usman will complete PhD in English, Muhammad Ishtiaq in Finance, Shahid Taufail in Business Administration—at England.Ikram Ullah Khan will work for Phd in Pharmacy at France, Amina Sajjad in Zoology at Germany, Nadeem Sabir in Physics at Germany and Muhammad Afzal in Bioinformatics at Holland,stated the release.—APP
