University of Education seminar for HEC:

Lahore:September 22: University of Education (UOE) Thursday organised a seminar in connection with 15 years celebrations of the establishment of Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. According to a press release, speaking on the occasion, University of Education Vice-Chancellor Dr Rauf-i-Azam lauded the achievements of HEC during the last 15 years and said because of HEC, higher education was being spread in Pakistan at a great speed.

Lahore:September 22: Punjab University Examinations Department has declared the results of BS Home Economics Part-I (first year) Annual Examination 2017, MCom Part-I (first year) Second Annual 2016, MCom Part-II (second year) Second Annual 2016 and BEd Annual 2017. Punjab University special students exempted from fee

LAHORE :Punjab University today announced an exemption of fee (tuition fee, admission fee and registration fee), dues, (university and departmental dues) hostel room and hostel admission fee for special students. Voice Chancellor Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir said in a press note that special students are also a part of our society and we need to pay special attention to them. Meanwhile, the PU Examinations Department has issued the schedule for submission of admission fee and forms for B.Com Part-I and II second annual examinations 2017.

Dr Umar Saif honoured

Admissions to Punjab University will be on merit: VC

LAHORE:19 september: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir has said that the university will ensure that admissions in all disciplines are strictly on merit basis and maximum facilities will be provided to the candidates seeking admissions to the Punjab University. He was addressing the admission stalls inauguration ceremony at the New Campus on Monday. Awareness exhibition for the children of a school in Lahore

LAHORE:September 19:On the directives of IG NH&MP Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, NH&MP Central Zone Mobile Education arranged an awareness exhibition for the children of a school in Lahore. The director of school Muhammed Iftikar, school staff, parents, motorway police officers and students were present on the occasion. They were briefed about road crossing, safety helmet, lane usage, seat belt, hazards of over speeding, driving during adverse weather conditions and other tips of road safety. Lahore College for Women University MoU to quality education

Lahore:September 17: Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Saturday signed an MoU for faculty development and conferences to promote quality education. University of Central Punjab now offers a 5-year LLB programme

Lahore:16 september:The University of Central Punjab has officially received its accreditation from the Pakistan Bar Council and is now permitted to run its five years LLB programme as a separate faculty. The Faculty of Law will operate under the umbrella of University of Central Punjab (UCP), and will be governed under the new rules set by the Pakistan Bar Council. The Dean and Faculty of Law hope to jump-start a new era in legal education in Pakistan.
